2017 ISSF World Cup Shotgun closed in Moscow: medals and records

640 athletes from 76 countries competed in 22 events at the Fox Lodge, since the 30th of August. Italy finished atop of the medals standing. Team USA set two new world record. Team Russian Federation closed the event with a last-day victory on their home turf.

Nadezda Konovalova and Nikolay Teplyy made the Russian national anthem resound one more time on the final competition day, as they claimed the first ever Skeet Mixed Team world title by beating United States Hayden Stewart and Dania Jo Vizzi, who took Silver. Italys Tammaro Cassandro and Katiuscia Spada completed the podium in 3rd place.

The 19-year-old Danish shooter added the junior world title to the Junior Bronze medal he won at the 2017 European Championship in Baku (AZE). Italys Elia Sdruccioli, who was also on the podium in Baku, where he took Silver, finished in 2nd place, while the Bronze medal went to Cyprus Nicolas Vasiliou.
